  - Pictures are from a room for one person. - clean and modern rooms - restaurant and bar inside the hotel - Note: From the tradition you have to remove your outdoor shoes at the entrance when entering the building. Slippers are available at the shoe rack where you should also store your outdoor shoes. - The reception organized another restaurant in the city for us as they were allready complete booked for the evening dinner on 31st of December.   Most possibly one of the best accommodation possibilities to be found in Longyearbyen. Amazing breakfasts, cozy premises and very good rooms. The only disadvantage is its location "on the top" of Longyearbyen.

  Amazing, low lit cozy spaces, of warmth, diversity and adventure... Brilliant food and drink... In the midst of polar frontier land.

  Tidy and clean hotel with a pleasant staff. Single room was a bit small, especially the bathroom. Breakfast is top notch. Good location, approx 10 minute walk from restaurants in the city. Overall a good stay at Funken Lodge, would definitely return.
