::Great restaurant with spectacular views over Adventfjorden. The staff are extremely helpful, there is an excellent breakfast buffet and Barentz Bar is always buzzing after a long day out in the field. Great place.

::I was delighted by quality of rooms and food of the Radisson Blu Polar Hotel while staying 6 nights last month there. Many thanks to hotel's staff, especially front desk managers Elene and Linda, and kitchen and restaurant staff. Their kindness and professional skills added to success of the North Pole flight tour. Particularly, Elene and Linda took care about securing rooms due to expedition postponement, and they suggested local tours while participants of the expedition waited for the flight to Barneo Camp.

::Contradictory to what some people said, I very much enjoyed this hotel. The rooms were very nice and comfortable with curtains that made it feel like night when it was light 22 hours a day. The amenities were nice and it was great that it had multiple restaurants. The staff were very friendly, the food was good, the location was great (easy to get to from the airport on the flybuss), and it was even better that they televised the big soccer games.

::An older and worn-out hotel trying to live up to Radisson Blu status. The amenities are there, but despite a minor refurbishment it is clear that the building is old (worn out patches in the carpet of the expensive restaurant, aged electric systems with newer connections on top of them, interior sanitary design that looks from the 80s, half-functioning showers, etc). Room cleaning is very late in the day, so you can return to an unmade room. The included WiFi works only for 2 hours at a time, then you need to reconnect. With its high price levels, this hotel does not give you very good value for your money.
