  Russkiy dom is not popular with most of the western tourists which is maybe a good thing. It is probably the cheapest place to stay in Spitzbergen BUT it is very well built, designed and was very clean while I was there. The caretaker, Katerina is very friendly, helpful and very intelligent! The rooms are dormitory style with three bunk beds but i had no other ppl in my room because I stayed in the low season of October!

  Reasonably good. A bit far from the city center, but in Longyaerbyen, you cannot be too far.
